Description
How could she be that stupid and pretentious ! It was so not like her ! To venture so far from the village, all alone ! But... fall has started and she knew that this old faithful tree would start to grant them with these juicy sweet fruits that Kapa loved so much. He never asked for it and why would he ? He just knew well where to find them, but, he was so busy lately... He would miss the first, the ones he calls « the first who once found love ». And that... that sounded way too sad so Amaï couldn't just do nothing.
And that's how the ended with one hurt wing and one injured leg after she fell from an apple tree. How could a winged Lycan have fallen from a tree you would ask ? He, you can't always get an apple without climbing its tree, even with wings. But now, she was severely hurt and after a few tries she had to give up on flying AND walking. And she was alone, in the middle of nowhere. What would she do ? Howl to ask for help ? What if some ennemy might hear her call ? But she couldn't wait on here forever neither...
The poor Hybrid was falling into despair when another Hybrid just showed up. A giant Zorro who was as surprised as her to find her without company on such a place. He knew her for he had already seen her several times in the village. This silent shy and very anxious female. Her two Skunk mates and her arrived and settled on the Wind Memories' village two years ago but she was still very timid with the other villagers. What was she doing here, laying on the ground with some lost and painful expression ?
The giant Zorro approched the female who finally seemed to recognize him as one of the most famous Guardian from the village she was living in. But she was still hesitating about how to react and what to do. This was such an awkward situation and she was feeling so bad for putting herself on it... Will he laugh at her ? She'd understand if so... But then she would cry, because she was already feeling so shameful and stupid... Although, she might also break down because of feeling so relieved not to be alone anymore...
Poor lil' thing, she was looking so uncertain, so fragile. And that's when he looked at her more carefully, unable to understand why she wasn't moving nor talking, that WereFox realized that she was injured. Then, without a word, he pulled some white old cloth from the inside of his armor and started to make some bandage on Amaï's hurt leg. She moaned, both in pain and surprise, but she remained docile until he got it all fixed. With that big satisfied smile on his face.
She couldn't tell him how lucky she was feeling right now. And how thankfull she was. But he just stayed as silent as she was, his smile and kind expression telling her some way that he knew all that already. And, suddenly, he turned his back on her, she felt scared at first, was he about to abandon her just like this ? After what he did for her ? But he crouched down in front of her and patted his shoulder on a friendly attitude before offering her another big smile.
Of course, she couldn't jump in, but he wanted her to understand what he was waiting from her and what he was about to do. He needed her to accept his help. He felt very surprise when she quickly closed her arms around his neck. Her body was shacking as she was trying to grabb him firmly, or well as strongly as a scared shy female could. Her eyes closed, she was waiting for him to do the rest. WereFox couldn't feel anything else but honored. She was scared and shocked, but she trusted him to protect her and carry her safely on their way home. This, this was the reason why he decided to become a Guardian. And he felt more than ever convinced that he made the right choice.
A guardian serve to protect and help those in need, and now he was sure : this was his own purpose in this life.
